  TRD high-performance oil filters use a 100-percent synthetic fiber filtration medium to provide the highest possible efficiency in dirt removal- along with the lowest possible restriction to flow. The outer steel container is constructed to provide a burst strength that exceeds six times the operating pressure and ten times the fatigue strength of standard filters- while the polished internal backing plate improves flow. Additionally- theres a silicone anti-drain valve that stays flexible- even at extreme temperatures and eliminates dry start wear by retaining oil after engine shutdown. TRD High Performance Oil Filters incorporate state-of-the-art design and materials offering superior protection. The filter uses 3 plies of 100% synthetic glass/polyester blend filtration meida that 98% efficient at 20 microns - thats smaller than pollen. TRD high-performance oil filters help to provide premium engine protection- which is achieved by using three plies of 100 percent synthetic glass/polyester blend filtration media for optimal efficiency. Uses the same tools as Genuine oil filters for replacement. Zinc-plated steel end caps help increase structural integrity Red silicone gaskets help provide excellent seal characteristics at high temperatures Kit includes two replacement high-temperature Vitron housing gaskets and drain adapter.
